Race Days at Chapter House

The 2017 season is about to get underway at York Racecourse with the Dante Festival taking place from 17-19 May, and once again, we’ll be extending our opening hours and programme of live music.

Before you head off for a day at the races, join us for a pre-race lunch in The Refectory from 11am. Our brand new lunch menu features sandwiches and salads, such as a Yorkshire Ploughman’s, as well as our Refectory Favourites, including our incredibly popular Short rib mac ‘n’ cheese. We’ll also be open until 10pm, if you fancy stopping by for dinner on your way home.

We’ll be hosting live music from local bands each day with sessions running from 11am-1pm and 6-8pm. Open till late, we’re also the perfect place for post-race drinks.
