Cocktail of the month: Twisted Tea

Twisted Tea

New Year, new bartender: Jack Cooper shares his debut recipe with us for the first month of 2019.

You’ll need: a Boston shaker, a Hawthorne strainer, a fine strainer and a rocks glass.


25ml Kraken spiced rum
20ml elderflower cordial
12.5ml agave syrup
12.5ml Galliano
50ml apple juice
Handful of mint
Garnish: mint sprig, lime wedge


– Chill the rocks glass with crushed ice
– Add all of the ingredients to the shaker with cubed ice and shake until the tin frosts over
– Discard the ice in the glass and double strain the cocktail
– Garnish with a sprig of mint and a wedge of lime
