Cocktail of the Month: Reader, I Married Him
A cocktail for the month of love, whether it’s sipped on a date in our bar, or made for your beau at home. Reader, I Married Him takes it’s name from the 18th Century novel, Jane Eyre – and it’s a drink we think you’ll fall head over heels for.
You’ll need: Boston shaker, Hawthorne strainer, fine strainer, coupe glass
Ingredients
25ml Chambord
25ml Disaronno Amaretto
Handful of raspberries
½ lime, juice only
Dash sugar syrup
Garnish: three raspberries on a cocktail pick
Method
– Chill a coupe glass with crushed ice
– Add all ingredients into the shaker, fill with ice and shake until the tin frosts over
– Discard the ice in the glass and then double strain the cocktail
– Garnish with three raspberries on a cocktail pick
