Cocktail of the month: Mila’s Martini

Mila's Martini recipe

Bartender Mila Cartwright puts a sweet and fruity twist on the classic Martini, that’s perfect for sipping on long summer afternoons.

You’ll need: Japanese mixing glass, julep strainer, fine strainer, bar spoon, coupe glass


25ml lychee liqueur
25ml apple juice
25ml Botanist gin
25ml Martini Dry vermouth
3 drops orange bitters
Garnish: orange twist


– Fill a coupe glass with crushed ice to chill
– Add all of the ingredients (except the bitters) to a Japanese mixing glass with cubed ice and stir until chilled
– Discard the crushed ice in the glass and double strain in the cocktail
– Add three drops of orange bitters and garnish with an orange twist
