Cocktail of the month: Kraken Sour Punch
This month’s cocktail recipe comes from Bartender Rob Willis, and is a twist on the classic sour cocktail.
You’ll need a Boston shaker, Hawthorn strainer, fine strainer and a rocks glass.
1 egg white
40ml Kraken rum
5ml sugar syrup
1 lime, juice only
Garnish: lime twist
– Add the egg white, rum, Chambord and sugar syrup to a Boston shaker and dry shake (without ice)
– Add the lime juice, then add cubed ice and shake again
– Double strain into a rocks glass filled with cubed ice and garnish with a lime twist
