July’s recipe comes from Bartender Joe Ashworth, who’s taken inspiration from our Frosé summer cocktail and combined Belsazar rosé vermouth with smoky Lajita mezcal.
You’ll need a Boston shaker, Hawthorn strainer and a rocks glass.
25ml Lajita mezcal
60ml Belsazar’s rosé vermouth
20ml agave syrup
20ml lime juice
Garnish: pink grapefruit slice
– Add all of the ingredients to a Boston shaker and shake for 60 seconds to ensure the agave is incorporated fully
– Single strain into a rocks glass filled with cubed ice
– Garnish with a thin slice of pink grapefruit
